Investlogic Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026

1. About this Policy

Investlogic (ABN 56 642 026 640) ("Investlogic", "we", "us", "our") is a property investment buyer's agency operating the website investlogic.com.au (the "Website"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our Website, submit a form, download our guides, book a call with us, or otherwise interact with us.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we collect it, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and we apply these standards as a matter of good practice even where a specific exemption might otherwise apply to a business of our size.

By using our Website or providing us with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information as described in this Policy.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and similar identifiers.
  • Enquiry and form information — details you provide through our contact form, lead-magnet download forms (e.g. our investment guides), or "view current opportunities" access form.
  • Financial readiness information — information you choose to share with us (including through our website chat assistant) such as whether you have investment capital or equity available, your investment budget range, and your investment readiness or timeframe. We collect this to help us understand whether and how we can assist you — we do not use it to provide financial advice (see section 8).
  • Booking information — details provided when you book a strategy call with us, including your name, contact details, and any information you provide about your circumstances.
  • Technical and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and general location, collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies (including analytics and advertising pixels — see section 6).
  • Communications — records of correspondence if you contact us by email, phone, or the website chat assistant.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health information) through the Website. Please don't include sensitive information in any form or message you send us unless we've specifically asked for it.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We generally collect personal information directly from you when you:

  • Submit a contact or enquiry form;
  • Download a guide or resource (e.g. our Rooming House Investment Guide);
  • Complete a form to view our current investment opportunities;
  • Interact with the chat assistant on our Website;
  • Book a strategy call through our booking link; or
  • Otherwise contact us by phone, email, or in person.

We may also collect information automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you browse the Website (see section 6).

4. Why We Collect, Use and Disclose Your Information

We collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information for purposes including:

  • Responding to your enquiries and providing you with requested guides or resources;
  • Assessing whether and how our buyer's agent services may suit your circumstances;
  • Contacting you about strategy calls, investment opportunities, and related services;
  • Sending marketing communications about our services, guides, and investment opportunities (see section 5);
  • Operating, maintaining, and improving our Website and services;
  • Complying with our legal obligations; and
  • Any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, or to which you have otherwise consented.

5. Marketing Communications

If you provide us with your contact details (for example, by downloading a guide or submitting a form), we may send you marketing communications about our services and investment opportunities via email, using our CRM platform (HubSpot).

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us using the details in section 12. Opting out of marketing won't affect our ability to respond to a specific enquiry you've made.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel), to:

  • Understand how visitors use our Website;
  • Measure the performance of our marketing campaigns; and
  • Show you relevant advertising on other platforms (including retargeting).

These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and actions taken on our Website. Most browsers let you control or disable cookies through their settings — please note that some parts of the Website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • Service providers who help us operate our business and Website, including our CRM and marketing platform (HubSpot), our project/board management platform (Monday.com — used, for example, to display our current investment opportunities to those who have requested access), website hosting providers, and IT service providers;
  • Analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta), for the purposes described in section 6;
  • Builders, developers, and other third parties involved in a property opportunity, where necessary to progress an enquiry you've made about a specific opportunity, and with your knowledge; and
  • Professional advisers, regulators, or authorities, where required or permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

8. Overseas Disclosure

Some of the service providers we use (including HubSpot and Monday.com) may store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including relying on the providers' own privacy and security commitments.

9. Data Quality and Security

We take reasonable steps to keep the personal information we hold accurate, complete, and up to date, and to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure — including through the security measures built into the third-party platforms we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.

10. Access and Correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details in section 12. We'll respond within a reasonable time. In some circumstances we may not be able to provide access (for example, where it would infringe another person's privacy) — if so, we'll explain why.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
